Du terreau solidaire dans les Jardineries Delbard

Les Jardineries Delbard ont lancé en 2008 un terreau à base de fibre de coco. Ce terreau sans tourbe est adapté à l'agriculture biologique. Pour chaque sac de terreau vendu, 1 euro sera reversé en 2008 à AVSF pour son projet Vélingara au Sénégal. En parallèle, les bénévoles membres de nos Délégations Régionales se mobilisent pour faire des animations dans les différents magasins et présenter AVSF ainsi que son partenariat avec Delbard. Grâce à un petit quizz, chaque client pourra tester ses connaissances sur la faim dans le monde et s’informer sur les solutions proposées par AVSF. Un petit lot sera remis à chacun des participants. AVSF at the Montpellier forum des associations (Forum for not-for-profit organisations), 19-21 May

The General Council of the Département of Hérault is organising a three-day forum for local not-for-profit organisations, based around a village concept, where the AVSF regional declaration will be running a stand, and featuring a series of debates. Between 15:00 and 18:30 on Tuesday, 20th May, a member of the AVSF regional delegation will lead a debate based on the following theme: “Working together to achieve sustainable development”. 12th UNCTD conference: mobilisation of the French NGOs, C2A in ACCRA

Coordination SUD and members of its Farming and Food Committee (CCFD, GRET, Oxfam France-Agir ici, Peuples solidaires) will be taking part in the 12th UNCTD Ministerial Conference which will take place at the end of April in Accra, Ghana. At a time when “hunger riots” are spreading throughout the world, the issue of regulating farm produce trade, the main theme of the United Nations Conference for Trade and Development, is of paramount importance. Coordination SUD and its member NGOs will take advantage of this opportunity to restate a certain number of principles shared with their partners in developing countries. Regulating trade, maintaining trading preferences granted within the framework of the WTO, and supporting regional integration are the prerequisites which would enable developing countries to take part in a form of development that is economically viable, socially fair and environmentally-friendly. |
