Animal health and production in Cambodia

Supporting animal health and production (poultry, cattle) in eight villages within the Ratanakmundul district by building the capacities of livestock farmers, service providers, and other actors in livestock farming.

In partnership with VSF Canada, ADA, and local producer organizations

AVSF has been supporting smallholder and livestock farmer families in Cambodia since 1991. In rural areas, maintaining healthy livestock is essential to a family’s survival. That’s why AVSF decided to train 650 animal health agents in Cambodia. Today, this model is officially recognized and every village in Cambodia has an animal health agent.
