International conference on agro-ecology

AVSF is co-organizing a conference on agro-ecology that will feature Professor Miguel Altieri, a pioneer and world authority in the field of agro-ecology. The event will be held on January 31, 2013, in La Paz, Bolivia.

The conference will provide an opportunity to review the research and successful experiments that have been conducted in Bolivia since 2005 with regard to agro-ecology and food sovereignty, in order to assess their contribution to sustainable rural development.
