AVSF's Financial Partners

AVSF and its partners are able to carry out development programs thanks to the support of many public sponsors, development and cooperation agencies, and private partners (associations, foundations, and businesses).

AVSF also receives financial support from many French local authorities for local cooperation programs carried out with their counterparts in the world. These local authorities are not only financial partners, but also technical partners in our cooperative efforts.

Agence Française de Développement

The French Development Agency (AFD), a public financial institution, works to reduce poverty, support economic growth, and promote global public goods in developing countries. At the heart of France’s public aid plan to help the poor, the AFD supports government authorities as well as both the private and associative sectors in implementing economic and social projects on five continents and in France’s overseas territories. The AFD is a long-standing financial partner of AVSF.

Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region

Rhones Alpes

For 20 years, the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region has been working in cooperation with many other regions around the world. Whether the nature of the work is economic, cultural, scientific, or focused on development aid, it provides an outlet for the region to work for the common good. Since its creation, AVSF has been based in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region and therefore has had a long-standing partnership with the region for support in carrying out rural development programs in Mali, Senegal, Madagascar, and Vietnam with local partners and in carrying out activities within the Rhône-Alpes region for raising awareness about development.
