AVSF to attend Convergences 2015 World Forum

AVSF will be in attendance at the 5th Convergences 2015 World Forum in Paris on September 20, 2012. AVSF Director General Frédéric Apollin will take part in the round-table discussion entitled: “How can food security be ensured at the local level?” AVSF will have a booth at the forum where we will welcome visitors and teach them about the work we do.

What is the Convergences 2015 World Forum? It is an event that brings together 3,000 professionals to try to come up with ways to overcome the various social and environmental problems that affect countries in both the North and the South. The World Forum will bring together major actors from the areas of social entrepreneurship, microfinance, international solidarity, and the social and solidarity economy.
