STeP EcoLab II Project: Integration of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in the Mongolian textile sector into more environmentally friendly global value and supply chains

Water Buffalo Project (Phase 2): supporting farmers to improve the productivity, profitability and environmental sustainability of their water buffalo breeding and fishing activities, setting up local mobile veterinary services, and adapting water buffalo breeding and fishing to climate change.

ASAMCO project: strengthening community surveillance and early detection capacities, training veterinary assistants and creating local ‘One Health’ committees. This project is part of a global programme implemented by IRD in six countries (Haiti, Mexico, Costa Rica, Laos, Thailand and the Democratic Republic of Congo).

WIFI project: Development of a local quality meat industry (Bayankhongor) based on Mongolian pastoral nomads.

AFIFI Sud Tsihombe Project: capacity-building for ruminant breeders in animal husbandry techniques and animal health, and further training for community animal health auxiliaries.

The AFIFI Sud élevage project supports 13 associations of seed multiplying farmers and 10 groups of goat breeders, i.e. more than 555 farming families, to achieve high-performance agricultural and livestock production that is resilient to climatic hazards.

Highlands Agroecology Project: improving production and incomes for farming families by increasing agricultural productivity, ensuring access to clean water and building the skills of women herders.

Sower of coexistence project: for a better cohabitation of populations and elephants, reconciling the legitimacy of farming families to live off their land and the protection of foraging elephants

AFRICAM project : development of integrated surveillance systems including community organizations to reduce the risk of zoonotic emergence

Sumarian Marshes Project: Improve the productivity, profitability and environmental sustainability of livestock farming activities. Setting up local mobile veterinary services: participative action research, training, technical assistance, investments.

Technical assistance to improve pig biosecurity and control of African Swine Fever (ASF) in ASEAN countries.

Identify risk factors for the spread of African swine fever at the wildlife-domestic interface.
